Testing the GoPro handlebar mount

A couple of days ago I decided to take the GoPro out on a short training session. I left Cambridge towards Cotton and then Grantchester. There I decided to take the meadows path instead of the road as the day was quite nice and finally, coming back to Cambridge, I decided to go around the city centre before going back home.

I was already expecting quite a large amount of shaking. I mean, there is a reason why GoPro videos usually work great when they are a collection of short clips and the bikes are in the air. However, the amount of shaking you get from the handlebar mount makes it almost unusable. Most asphalt with the sleek tires I’ve got on my bike already creates too much vibration…

Anyway, I still have to search for good stabilising software and see if it improves the footage enough to be of a decent quality. In the meantime I leave you a short video of some rather shaky clips:
